If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen my #BikiniReadyWithToscaSalon tweets. Over the next few weeks I’m going to be going for slimming treatments at Tosca salon’s Tygervalley branch with the hope to lose some centimetres before the December holiday.
I’ve been for two treatments so far, and each session is about 45 minutes to an hour. The sessions are very relaxing – I just lie there while Meghan, the therapist works her magic with the Revolution 7 machine. The Revolution 7 machine is a vacuum slimming machine that makes use of rollers, infrared and blue light to help with centimetre loss, improve cellulite and your skin tone and texture on the treated areas.
I decided to have the slimming treatments done on my two problems areas – the very irritating muffin top spilling over my skinny jeans and my upper thighs. Initially the ‘feeling’ of the vacuum slimming machine ‘sucking’ and ‘rolling’ your fat is very weird (and sometimes ticklish) but after the first treatment I was used to it. It’s important to drink loads of water, especially on treatment days. The rolling action of the machine release toxins that needs to be washed out of your system – this is where the water comes in.
I am going to go for 12 slimming treatments and I will update you on my stats after my treatments. I took some before and after photos too and I’m still debating whether or not I’m going to post those.
