I have been eyeing a flourless chocolate cake recipe for a while now and was looking for an excuse to bake a cake. And what better excuse than a friend’s birthday?
I used this recipe from Nigella and true to her reputation, this cake is easy to make and very tasty. The quality of the chocolate you use for the cake really make or break the recipe. My fiancé’s birthday is coming up next week and I think I’m going to make this cake for his co-workers. I have another topping idea that I want to try and seeing that the cake doesn’t really rise (no flour remember ;)) I will double the recipe to make two layers. Happy baking!
