Since I got back from New York, things have been super busy work-wise. Changes are happening and it’s all very exciting. I have a few new projects in the pipeline for Twenty3Media and StyleDiary and that’s the main reason why I haven’t blogged as much over the last couple of weeks. I’m working on a big project for StyleDiary and if all goes well (and everything is finalised) I’ll be able to tell you all about it in a few weeks. I love projects that push me out of my comfort zone and this one is exactly that. More details to follow… 🙂

Back to today’s look post. Bianca and I took these outfit photos the week before I left for New York, and I never got round to posting them. I love this outfit combination – I’m really into pencil skirts this season and I’d love to pair them with a crop top for a casual look, but body-wise I’m not there yet. I have to spend some more time (much more time….) on the treadmill first 😉 I realised the other day I have a lot of black as well as striped items in my wardrobe – you’ll pick it up in my outfit posts too. However, I think stripes will always be in fashion so I think of it as an investment.

How cute is Emma? She wasn’t too happy to be part of these photos, she’d much rather be sniffing around and exploring. Since I got back we also decided to get another puppy as a friend for Emma, so we adopted a female Dapple Dachshund from the SPCA. She is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait for her to come home! Emma and I are off to visit her at the SPCA today as part of the adoption process. Hold thumbs that all goes well! If it does, we get to bring the new pup home next week Wednesday or Thursday. I’m so excited!
