This post comes to you from a laundromat in Harlem, New York. We arrived in New York last week Friday and I was hoping to get more work / blogging done every morning before we leave our apartmnet to explore the city, but alas. We spent the last few days exploring, shopping (a LOT of shopping!) and eating. I’m loving New York’s vibe but now that we’ve been here for almost a week I’m starting to miss home. I miss my husband, my dog, my bed, my own shower. That being said, we only have a few more days left here so we’re going to make the most of it.
We’re here for Erica and Jono’s wedding that is taking place tomorrow morning (search #ericajonowed on Instagram to see all the pics). This afternoon there is a pre-wedding event, so we’re spending the day pampering ourselves. First we have to get the admin out of the way (laundry!) then we’re off to have our nails and hair done. I’m looking forward to a bit of pampering…my feet can do with a little TLC – we’ve walked a lot since we’ve been here.
Before I left, Bianca and I did a couple of outfit photoshoots and I meant to post them a while ago already, but to get everything ready work-wise before we left had to take priority. We took the photos at the skatepark in Parklands Main Road, and it made a beautiful setting. Unfortunately the skatepark is no longer being used or maintained, which is a pity. I took Emma with me and while it was difficult to get her to focus on Bianca and the camera while we took photos, we got a couple of nice shots 🙂 Take a look at the photos below and let me know what you think!
What I’m wearing: Sunglasses from Mr Price / T-shirt from Ackermans / Skinny jeans bought at China Town / Boots from Nine West / Watch from Calvin Klein
Emma is just too cute! I’m may be biased though 🙂 What do you think of the outfit? Chat to me in the comments.
