We had our annual family reunion in Bloemfontein this weekend and to say that it was loads of fun will be an understatement. It’s always good to see everyone and even though not all the families could make it this year, we still had a great catch up weekend. It was freeeeezzing in Bloemfontein – I definitely didn’t take enough warm clothes with me. We flew to Bloem on Friday and we took Emma (the puppy) with us, so we had quite a trek. I decided to wear something chic but still casual and ended up settling for this outfit paired with flat boots.
What I’m wearing: Smily – courtesy of the wine in my hand / Sunnies from BondiBlue / Black deconstructed top from Zara / Grey blazer with leopard print lining from New Feeling / Black skinny jeans from Woolworths / Black flat boots from Shoe HQ
I wanted to wear my heeled black leather boots on the day that we left Cape Town but decided against it – all that walking in the airport and then still carrying the puppy and our luggage was going to be a bit too much. It turned out to be a wise decision as the place we were staying at in Bloem had more sand than grass (it’s very, very dry in Bloem at the moment) and my boots took a bit of a beating. It was so cold that I ended up wearing my boots every single day we were there – I only packed two other pairs of flat ballet pumps and there was no way that I was going to suffer to look cute 😉
I have quite a few blazers and I love wearing them with skinny jeans and boots for a smart casual / chic look. How do you like to wear your blazers? Do you like to wear them dressed up or down for a more casual chic look? Chat to me in the comments.
