I was sent an Intense Hydrating hair mask from Moroccanoil to review and I’ve been testing the product over the last couple of weeks. As soon as you hear the word ‘oil’ in anything to do with hair you immediately think ‘oily hair’ or ‘dirty hair.’ I’ve heard many good things about Moroccanoil’s products so I was keen to try out this weightless hair mask.
As you may know, I normally wash my hair with baking soda and condition it with vinegar, so all I did was replace the vinegar with this hair mask. I suggest washing your hair first if you’re in the shower and rinsing it off just before you get out in order to give the hair mask some time to work its magic. The hair mask acts as a revival treatment that deeply hydrates your hair and can be used once or twice a week, depending on the condition of your hair.
After I’ve rinsed my hair, I’ll style it like I usually would. This means I roughly blow dry my hair before straightening it and I still apply my normal heat protector before the straightening process. I find that the mask leaves my hair soft and shiny and I’m definitely going to continue using it. For more information about Moroccanoil’s products, visit their website. Thank you Moroccanoil for spoiling me with this hair mask to review!
