The launch of Mr and Ms at Smitten Home & Life

Last night I attended the launch of Mr and Ms Clothing at the Smitten Home & Life store in Wynberg. Smitten Home & Life is a décor and lifestyle shop situated in The Farriers Centre and if you’ve never been there you should make a plan to pay them a visit – they have such gorgeous stuff! From home décor items to baby clothes to jewellery…just too many to name. Take a look at the photos.

Look at all that cute baby stuff!

Smitten Home & Life provided the venue for the launch and as part of the event, we made pumps (yes, made – like in handmade!) with Lara Collinson from Luli Pulani. I’m going to do a separate post on this experience – it was so much fun!

No, we didn't make these - Lara did ;)

Back to the launch – the Mr and Ms clothing line is the creation of Catherine Nebe – in her own words: “Mr and Ms is not primarily about chasing current trends, but rather about taking inspiration from beautifully designed clothing from the past and applying that inspiration to today’s context.” Catherine’s pieces are all classic with attention to detail – and the finishing of each item is fantastic. Here are some of my favourite pieces from the Mr and Ms line.

How gorgeous is the colour of this dress?

I love this round back, simple and beautiful

Thank you to Charlene, Tracey, Catherine and Lara for a unique and fun experience and for the amazing goodie bag! Keep an eye on the blog for the post about the shoe-making experience with Lara from Luli Pulani. Until next time 🙂
