The weather has been great the last few days, more autumn-weather than winter-weather. Apparently that is going to change soon, seems like Cape Town can expect some rain over the weekend. With the sunny days it has been difficult to get dressed – it’s cold when you’re sitting still but if you’re out and about and moving, it’s hot. The key is definitely layering but it’s not always that easy. Here is some winter outfit inspiration… today I’m wearing one of my old favourite tops (I can’t even remember where I bought it…that’s how old it is) paired with jeans and studded shoes. It’s a comfortable outfit and perfect for all the errands I have to run today.
Outfit details: Brown top, can’t remember store’s name / Jeans from Woolworths / Tan studded shoes bought at China Town
One of winter’s biggest fashion trends is studs and when I saw these shoes in China Town I immediately fell in love. Here is a closer picture of them. Studded shoes is such an easy (and fairly cheap) way to incorporate this fashion trend with your wardrobe. I also like the edge that it gives to this winter outfit (along with red lipstick). This evening I’ll wear a black coat for extra warmth and the studded shoes will still be the star of the outfit. What do you think – is the studded shoes a yay or a nay? Chat to me in the comments 🙂
