The one and only peplum top that I own quickly became one of my favourite tops, and the other day I paired it with skinny jeans for a coffee meetup with a friend. I like peplum tops or dresses because it creates the illusion of a waist…something that I don’t have. I really like my peplum top (compared to a peplum dress) because you can pair it with either pants or pencil skirts for two completely different and dramatic looks. In another outfit I paired this exact black peplum top with formal pants for a business look, so versatile don’t you think?
PEPLUM OUTFIT IDEA (SMART CASUAL)
This outfit can easily be dressed down by wearing flat ballet pumps instead of heeled ankle boots. The peplum top adds the extra vavavoom to the outfit and I like it 😉 I’ve also come up with a different way to wear my hair down. I’m in the process of growing my fringe out and it’s halfway there yet. It can just-just be tucked in behind my ear but it won’t stay there – very annoying. So I came up with an easy hairstyle to keep my fringe out of my face 🙂
Very easy to do and very effective too! All I do is I blow dry and straighten my hair as usual, then I tease the top section for extra volume, pin it back and set the style with some hairspray. Voila! Have a good weekend peeps, I am planning on catching up with all the blogging I missed out on this week – so expect many posts to come next week! Ciao 🙂
