The weather has been kind to us Capetonians, the wind has (finally) calmed down and we’ve had a few cooler days over the last week. One of my favourite kind of outfits include pairing a loose-fitting top with skinny jeans but it’s been too hot lately to wear jeans. Now that the weather is a bit cooler, it’s the perfect excuse to wear the outfit below.
One of my style ‘rules’ is to balance out a silhouette. If I wear a loose top, my pants have to be tight fitting. The other alternative with this outfit was to wear a belt at the waist for a more defined silhouette, but I don’t like wearing a waist belt and a necklace at the same time.
What I’m wearing: Sunnies from BondiBlue / Black deconstructed top from Zara / Necklace from Sass Diva / Jeans from Woolworths / Sandals from Legit / Leather bag bought in Italy
I absolutely love these black sandals from Legit, I’ve been wearing them so often. They have a bit of gold bling on the inner sole which I adore. It will also probably be the last time that I’m wearing these jeans as they are now a size too big for me… yay! The wedding diet is going well. It may have to do with the fact that my wedding dress can’t close at the back (it arrived one size too small) so the motivation to fit in that dress is definitely an encouraging factor. I have just less than a month to lose another dress size so here’s to healthy eating, lots of water and exercise 😉
