Celebrating Women’s Day

On Wednesday evening I was part of the team that hosted an Awards gala celebrating individuals and companies on the forefront of gender empowerment. I didn’t get to take many pictures except the few I took for the event’s Twitter stream on the evening.

For the Awards I wore an off the shoulder floor length red gown from Bride and Co. The dress had flower and draping detail on the bust and I received many compliments – always nice to hear when people like what you’re wearing! The bonus was that the dress was really comfortable and because it is so long, I wore flat shoes. Comfort is key when you’re required to move around (read: run around) a lot!
